Malta Stock Exchange updates the Prospects MTF Rules
On the 12th June, the Malta Stock Exchange updated the Prospects MTF Rules, which are applicable to small and medium-sized enterprises desirous to float their capital on the market known as “Prospects”. The revised rules have been approved by the Malta Financial Services and are effective as from June 2019.
The amendments include:
- New rules on the continuing obligations of Corporate Advisors;
- Removal of the requirement for a collateral by issuers and/or guarantors to cover interest payments;
- Clarifications on the composition of the Audit Committee; and
- Updates to the table of events triggering issuers’ requirement to disseminate inside information.
